Adewale Ayuba Early Music Life (Adewale Ayuba Biography Tribe & Genre of Music i.e The Type of Music)
Adewale Ayuba is a Nigerian musician who is known for his fusion of traditional Yoruba music with modern genres such as jazz, pop and reggae. He was born in Ikenne, Ogun State, in 1966 and started his musical career at the age of eight.
He formed his first band, Akorede Music Home, when he was 17 and released his debut album, Ibere (Beginning), in 1986. He gained popularity with his 1988 album, Bubble, which introduced his unique style of music that he called Bonsue. He has since released over 20 albums and won several awards, including the Nigerian Music Award for Best Fuji Artist in 1990 and the Kora Award for Best West African Artist in 1996. He is also a philanthropist and a lecturer at the Department of Music, University of Lagos.
