Nonso Ogidi is a Nigerian musician who specializes in highlife music. He is also known as Ogidi Igbo or Onu Mmanwu Anam, which means the voice of the masquerade. He was born in Anambra state, in the Igbo tribe of Nigeria. He started his musical career at a young age, singing and playing instruments in his local church.

He later joined a band called The Young Stars, where he learned how to play the guitar and other instruments. He was influenced by the likes of Osita Osadebe, Oliver De Coque, and Bright Chimezie.
