Marion Hall, formerly known by her stage name Lady Saw, is a Jamaican singer and songwriter with a career spanning over two decades. Known as the Queen of Dancehall, she holds the distinction of being the first female deejay to achieve triple-platinum certification and win a Grammy Award.

Lady Saw’s journey began in 1987 when she adopted the stage name “Lady Saw” inspired by the famous Jamaican singer Tenor Saw. Her early performances garnered attention from record producers, leading to her recording her first singles. She gained popularity with hits like “If Him Lef” and “Find a Good Man.” Her music success on Jamaican radio propelled her to record her first studio album, “Lover Girl,” which included the hit track “Stab Up De Meat.”

Over the years, Lady Saw continued to release music that resonated with audiences both in Jamaica and internationally. Her ability to effortlessly navigate multiple genres, coupled with her powerful vocals and compelling songwriting, contributed to her enduring legacy in the music industry.
