Evi Edna Ogholi is a Nigerian female reggae musician who was born on July 6, 1966, in Isoko, Delta State. She started her music career in 1987 with her debut album My Kind of Music, produced by her husband and manager Emma Ogosi. She became popular for her song Happy Birthday, which was part of her third album of the same name. She also sang in her native Isoko language and addressed social issues such as peace, jealousy and road safety. She was an ambassador for Pepsi in 1990 and a member of UNICEF in France, where she moved after separating from her husband. She is known as the Queen of Nigerian Reggae and Africa’s Queen of Reggae.
