Remi Aluko who was given birth in Ebute Metta Lagos state in the year 1977, his father was a product of Ilesha, Osun State while his mother came from Abeokuta, Ogun State, Fortunately, the singer always claim to be a Lagosian as he has Lagos blood.
Remi Aluko (also known as Igwe of Fuji )which real name is Aderemi Aluko is another big fish in the Fuji industry, He’s regarded as a very talented Fuji singer as he’s popular among the Yoruba group. The Fuji singer came out from a Christian home as he stopped the saying that Fuji Music is only for the Muslims.
Remi started his career at a very little age of six he explains that in primary school, he and his classmates would just put tables and chairs together in the classroom, beating them while he will be singing to the beat. he used to disturb the class. Not knowing that’s going to be what will make me great in the future. He started singing professionally at the age of 15.
